What is CoopAgora?

CoopAgora is an association created in February 2010 with members in Sweden and Spain.

The purpose of CoopAgora is to connect and simplify exchange of knowledge and experience between associations, cooperatives and networks that are working for a more participative, creative and non commercial society. The association will itself try to be an agent in the process. The association shall work in the national and international context. Another purpose is to stimulate creation of new associations and cooperatives as well as help them during the entire process.

The association will pursue its purpose by:

  • offering a virtual meeting-place where the different associations, cooperatives and networks will be presented
  • publish texts where different project will be described
  • organizing virtual and non virtual lectures, courses and exchanges.

The tools that will be used are as much as possible non commercial and cooperative, for example opensource software.
